At Isaan Aquatics, we take care to ensure all aquarium supplies and livestock are packed securely and shipped in a manner that prioritizes safety and reliability.

 

IMPORTANT: Separate Orders Required

Live fish and dry goods must be ordered separately.

Because livestock and dry goods require different packaging methods and shipping speeds, they cannot be combined in the same shipment. Orders containing both will be canceled and refunded, and customers will be asked to place separate orders.

 

Order Processing Time

Dry Goods:
Orders are processed within 2–3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).

 

Live Fish:
Live fish orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days and are scheduled for shipment based on safe weather conditions and shipping method selected.

 

Orders placed after business hours or on weekends/holidays will begin processing the next business day.

 

Live Fish Shipping Schedule

To minimize transit time and reduce risk to livestock, live fish are shipped at the beginning of the week.

• Orders placed before 12:00 PM CST on Sunday will be shipped on Monday or Tuesday, depending on order volume and weather conditions.

• Orders placed after 12:00 PM CST on Sunday will be scheduled for shipment the following Monday.

Shipping is typically completed on Mondays, with Tuesdays used as needed based on order volume and safe shipping conditions.

 

We reserve the right to adjust shipping days if weather or transit conditions are not safe for livestock.

 

Customers will receive tracking information once their order has shipped.

 

Shipping Methods & Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery times vary depending on the shipping method selected at checkout and your location.

 

Dry Goods:

• USPS Ground: 2–5 business days

 

Live Fish:

• USPS Priority Mail Express: 1–2 business days (not guaranteed by carrier)

• UPS Next Day Air (Early, Saver): Overnight delivery (guaranteed by carrier)

 

Delivery timeframes are estimates provided by the carrier and may vary due to factors outside our control.

 

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the selected shipping method and destination. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.

 

Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, a tracking number will be provided via email.

Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking and ensuring timely receipt of deliveries.

 

Shipping Address Accuracy

Customers must provide a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

Isaan Aquatics is not responsible for delays or delivery issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.

 

Weather & Temperature Considerations (Live Fish)

Shipping live fish requires safe temperature conditions at both origin and destination.

We carefully monitor weather conditions and may delay shipment when necessary to protect livestock.

 

Cold Weather Guidelines:

• Below 50°F: Heat packs are typically included

• Below 32°F: UPS Next Day Air is strongly recommended

• Below 25°F: Orders may be delayed until temperatures improve

 

Warm Weather Guidelines:

• Above 85°F: UPS Next Day Air is strongly recommended

• Above 95°F: UPS Next Day Air may be required

• Above 100°F: Orders may be delayed until temperatures improve

 

We reserve the right to delay or adjust shipping methods if conditions are unsafe.

Heat Pack / Cold Pack Usage

Heat packs or cold packs may be included when necessary at no additional cost.

These are used to help maintain safe temperatures during transit but cannot fully offset extreme weather conditions.

 

Carrier Delays

While we package all shipments to withstand normal transit conditions, delays caused by carriers (such as USPS or UPS), weather, or other unforeseen circumstances may occur.

In the event of delays affecting live fish, claims will be handled in accordance with our DOA Policy.

 

Agreement to Terms

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept:

• The selected shipping method and associated risks

• That live animal shipping involves inherent risks beyond our control

• That you have reviewed our DOA Policy prior to purchase
